Sympathetic Nerves in mammals arise from the THORACO-LUMBAR region. Nerves of the sympathetic system originates within the spinal cord of the thoracic and lumbar segment, but beyond the vertebra each departs from the cord and turns ventrally in short, white ramus to enter a sympathetic ganglion
