There are a total of 16 government medical colleges in Karnataka.

Here are the top 5 -
Bangalore Medical College and research institute, Bangalore - 512
Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli - 455
Mysore Medical College, Mysore - 443
Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences, Belgaum - 428
