To get admission in MTech you must clear GATE,I never heard of cracking JEE after Btech.JEE is the path for admission to pursue BTech.

@Aneesha: If you wish to continue your bachelor's degree in IITs and NITs, you should clear JEE Mains besides first year of your B.Tech. If you want to pursue your PG in reputed institutes such as IISC, IIT etc or get good jobs in PSUs etc"
