As you may be knowing that  the Assam CEE counseling will be on June before jEE counselling.
Now as you have secured 168 marks(483 rank in general category), so you do have chances to get CSE in JEC.
Also, you can even get a seat in AEC, however your chances are a bit low there but there is some probability too.
But ofcurse you will be able to make it to JEC.
So, I would advice you to go for the counseling process and look for the branch and college which suits you accordingly.

Hope you are doing well!! And congratulations on securing a very good rank in CEE exam. As ASTU have provided the merit list and the counseling will be starting from 10th of june. Regarding your query you can get Assam Engineering college (AEC) even Jorhat engineering college (JEC). And as you have said you want persue computer science engineering in Jorhat Engineering college (JEC) then there is no worries your rank is good enough to get you into this college with your preferable branch.
