It is okay , if u have written the exam based on ur knowledge, luck cannot be believed for the second time. But i suggest u join a college and then do ur preparation simultaneously, because a year lost is a year lost. But if u r that passionate about iit, then join a coaching centre like the resonance , and go for it.

Anyways , choice is yours.Good luck

Well Aadya it is OK if you are preparing for jee mains by yourself. But jee advance is an exam which needs proper coaching and guidance to clear it,and you are also dedicating one whole year for its sake so it would be recommended if you go for some sort of coaching classes.Better not to take any risk and be on the safe side.

Hello Aspirant,

No. Its not necessary ti go for coaching. If you feel like you can do it by self study then nothing can be better than that. Try and solve previous year question papers. Give time to each subjects on regular basis and see if you are improving. You can use gradeup app which have lots of study material, quizzes, previous year question papers and practice the topics. If you are determined about it, nothing can stop you.

Good luck!!

Hi!

See if you have an inner confidence that you can crack jee advanced then go for it. Don't see other students what they do as it doesn't matter if you think you can then go for it. Most probably you can go for it and drop a year and do hard work as much as possible. As you are aware of the syllabus of JEE-MAINS and JEE-ADVANCED it is easy for you to crack the exam. Try to solve as many questions you can. And lastly, I said it all depends on you if you do hard work then flying colors would come along with you.
