Earlier the rank was determined based on combined scored in IPE and TS EAMCET Entrance Exam. 25% weightage was given to marks scored in group subjects in IPE and 75% weightage for marks scored in TS EAMCET. The scored were added and the rank is allotted based on the combined score. This year the rank will be solely based on marks scored in TS EAMCET, IPE marks are not given any weightage. Suppose that if a candidate scored 155/160 which is the highest score in TS EAMCET he/she will secure 1st rank and the consecutive rank will be secured by a candidate who scored the next highest marks in TS EAMCET.
