Yeah definitely AAI will recruit the candidate's through the GATE entrance exam , as of now , as you said the AAI has not declared the notification for the recruitment through GATE, but you have to wait for it and regularly check the notification for the recruitment in it's official website such that you will be get recent updates about that since it is a Miniratna company & definitely it will going to recruit the candidate's via GATE entrance exam.

AAI Recruitment through GATE 2019 The Airport Authority of India (AAI) will release the application form for AAI recruitment through GATE 2019 tentatively from the first week of April. Candidates will be able to apply for the AAI recruitment throughGATEtill the last week of May tentatively. Graduates in Civil, Electrical or Electronics engineering and Architecture will be eligible to apply for the recruitment by AAI through GATE. Candidates having valid GATE 2019 scores only are eligible to apply for the AAI recruitment through GATE. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 300 online (reserved category, female and PwD candidates are exempt). Candidates will be shortlisted and selected on the basis of their GATE 2019 scores. The shortlisted candidates will have to report for document verification for final selection.
