To get Home state quota for nit is it compulsory to do 11th and 12th from same state? what if 11th from different state and 12th from different state??

It is not necessary to complete 11th and 12th in the same state to get home state quota for nit. But you need to have complete atleast 5 years of education in that particular state or you should have a permanent residence in that particular state. By using any of these two ways you can get a home state quota.
