If you want to go through Gate then why not IITs because as per my view it would be better to try for IITs as this would be the better choice and the best part is the cut off is not that high. If still you want to get admission in private colleges then SRM,VIT, Amrita is there BITs is also good but it does not consider Gate score. So you can apply accordingly. Good Luck!!!
