Hello,

When two balls reach the highest point they have only the horizontal velocity components

Then that is if they are equal then,

V1cos30=v2cos45,you can relation between v1 and v2.the ratio between the horizontal ranges is given by

R1/R2=( v1Sin2 (30)/2g))/(v2sin(45)/2g)=1:1
