Hello,

Let the third number be x.

The first number is 20% more than the third number, so it is x+0.2x=1.2x.
The second number is 50% more than the third number, so it is x+0.5x=1.5x.

The ratio of the two numbers is:

1.2x/1.5x = 12/15 = 4/5
