When Two wires have the same material and length, but their masses are in the ratio of 4:3. If they are stretched by the same force, their elongation will be in the ratio of 3:4.This depends on the stress and strain concept.

We know that m1/m2=a1/a2=4/3 and length is directly proportional to area so the answer will be 3/4 =3:4
