Hope you are doing well. Upgradation is a process for which students apply after the 1st round of counseling gets completed. By applying for upgradation students are taking part in the 2nd round. In upgradation students are either alloted college above than the already allotted college or the result is same as previous round. Your college won't be shifted to any lower college friends your choice list. You won't be shifted to any lower college. Upgradation is for if student wish for any better college according to his/her choice list. Hope this helps you with your query.
