it depends on your respective teacher or the officials who makes the academic calander. They will decide it how they will complete all the academic work prior to semester. So you can go and ask to your faculty members.  In general it is 15 days prior to  your semester date .

Still get confirmed from your teacher. You can ask any senior you know as they can say you how the lab exams are conducted and how to prepare and the dates also.
