Hi Rupali!

If you register for any exam (government or private) and then later you do not go for writing the exam, then it would still be considered as an attempt.

So, it would be considered as an attempt in UPSC.

>>> UPSC Civil Services exam is conducted every year in offline mode.

>>> To be eligible to apply for the exam, candidates age must be between 21-32 years and you cannot write UPSC exam after 32 years of age.

>>> Also, you can attempt only 6 times (general candidate) and your one attemot is gone if you do not write the exam, only by registering.
