EWS certificate  can be used to avail 10% reservation for economically weaker sections in higher education all over India and in govt. Jobs.

You can get EWS certificate if:

1. Candidate's Annual family income is less than 8 lacs P.A.

2. Residential flat area should be below 1000 sq. Ft.

3. His family must not own more than 5 acres of agricultural land.

4. Residential plot area should be below 100 sq. Yards if in notified municipality sector.

And below 200 sq. Yards if in non notified municipal sector.
