Well, csab is for vacant seats after josaa 2020 and its schedule is as

CSAB 2020    Dates

1. Display of Vacancies after JoSAA rounds    16 Nov 2020
2. Registration, Payment of Participation Fee and Choice Filling starts from    17 Nov 2020
3. Last date for registration and choice filling    19 Nov 2020
4. Display of Seat Allotment Result – Special Round-    20 Nov 2020
5. Exercising options following the outcome of Special Round-I - 20 – 23 Nov 2020

• Seat Acceptance (FREEZE/SLIDE/FLOAT) & Institute Reporting (OR)
• Surrender Allotted Seat and Participating in Next Round (OR)
• Surrender Allotted Seat and NOT Participating in Next Round (OR)
• Not allotted any seat at the end of special round-I, and not willing to participate in the special round – II

6.Display of Seat Allotment Result – Special Round-II    24 Nov 2020

7.Reporting at Allotted Institute (In-Person/Online)    25 to 30 Nov 2020

Csab - central seat allocation board is responsible for filling the vacant seats in iiit, nits ,gftis and iiest after josaa counseling.

Now, central seat allocation board will release the vacancies in nits, iiits, gftis, or iiest befoee the commencement of csab special round counseling, on 16th november 2020 on 5pm.

The admission in vacant seats in csab special round counseling will be given on basis of Crl ranks.
