The VITEEE cutoff refers to the last rank required to obtain a seat in a VIT branch.  Top branches, such as CSE, require a rank of less than 10,000.  For IT and ECE, less than 20,000 is safer.

Lower branches such as Civil or Mechanical may exceed 50,000.  Every year, cutoffs are adjusted based on seat availability, difficulty, and student enrollment.  VIT  Vellore has the highest cutoff, followed by Chennai, Bhopal, and the AP campuses.  Always strive for a higher position to obtain your desired branch.
