You can apply to prestigious universities like Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) or the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) to pursue an M.Tech in Renewable Energy or Energy Systems in India.  These courses teach you about energy management, smart grid technology, biomass, solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources.  GATE results and undergraduate degrees in pertinent engineering disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering, are frequently used to determine admission.
