Firstly there is no fix programme through that you can surely enter into modelling. There are students from different domain prepare themselves for overall grooming.

According to me you should have professional degree with you if after few years you don't want to continue your career into same.

Nift or other fashion related Institute can give you platform but platform you can find with your skills from other domain too.
