Let me correct you- CIT is not the name of a branch in BTech, but it is actually the name of a college known as Coimbatore Institute of Technology affiliated under the Anna University.

There are various branches in BTech such as- civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, computer science engineering, etc. which have different courses and cutoffs, but CIT is not the name of any such branch.
