The placements for civil engineering department for the UG or better know as B. Tech students (flagship program of all the degrees offered at nirma university) is at par with any IIT’s or NIT’s.

You will have all tech, management and financial companies coming in ranging from morgan stanley to futures first to come and provide you with a chance to get yourselves recruited. The highest packages offered is about 18 lakhs by Morgan Stanley during th placement of my batch which was last year itself.

As of now, looking at the market scenario most of the guys at nirma go on to pursue their masters in business sudies or abroad to pursue core subjects or join family business therefore not a lot of people tend to sit into placements so it's not that hyped especially for civil engineering department.

Therefore the conclusion being if at all you have the confidence to build your competence during the 4 years at nirma you can have an overwhelming response in the form of placements added to your life!
