Placements are entirely dependent on the college and the number of companies visiting that college. You didn't mentioned your college. According to the student opinion in general , the placement salary package vary from Rs.3LPA to Rs. 4 LPA depending on the company and then the salary increases with time. This are the CTC so the basic in hand may drop a little.
