Considering that a person who has back papers in the first year so the concerned college will allow you to give the back papers after the result declaration  of the first years and also for those who have failed in final years they would be facing a bit of trouble of getting placed at the companies if the concerned company get to know about this. They would ask the questions which would be a bit awkward for you to answer in the interview.
