Hello Pradeep,

After graduating from IISER,the person has a MS degree from a prestigious institute in India and pretty much all fundamental skills to take up any profession that one likes.Although IISERs focus to train their students for a career in scientific research but life at IISERs provides you a wide prespective of all life spheres and provides every opportunity to explore a new field on your own.Coming to future prospects after graduating from IISERs:

 1)IISER students are readily accepted as PhD students in the best research institutes in India and abroad,provided they have developed the right scientific aptitude.Therefore,if one aims to have a career in science ,especially academia or R&D sections of industries IISERs are the place to be.

2) One can take up a career path of a science communicator.If a student has an aptitude for scientific writing and likes explaining science in simple words to the masses,one can join one or two year long masters programs in science communication after MS and plunge into an interesting career of science journalism.

3)MS students from IISERs have been successful in getting admitted to IIMs, FMS ,IMI and so on. So many pursue MBA also.

4)Off campus placements is always an open door.Companies like Biocon, Deloitte,Mu Sigma,Shell and many more have hired IISER graduates for their skills like data analytics and hands on experience of scientific research.Coaching institutes like Aakash and FIIT-JEE hire IISER graduates as faculty.

5)Placement cells would hopefully be coming up soon in most of the IISERs and then it would be easier to get a job after MS at IISERs.

Lastly, I would like to add that there are many doors for an IISER graduate to knock on and get into with not much difficulty.There is a great need to identify his or her interests early on and acquire the skill set along with a MS degree to enter the door :)
