EWS means Economically Weaker section which is a subcategory of general category whose annual income is less than eight lakhs and they don't belong to reserved category (SC/ST/OBC). They do have separate reservations.

PwD means  Person with Disabilities.A person with more that 40% of disabilities come under this category.They do have 3%  reservations under SC, ST, OBC, general category.To claim their reservation they need to provide a disability certificate.
