Usually most of  the universities entertain only candidates with strong academic profile however numerous other factors also determine your selection process like how may time taken to clear the backlogs, your recommendation letter, statement of purpose, project and workshop experiences. You can do online courses in a short span to boost your profile. You may aim for higher score in IELTS if other means do not serve much.
