For every B.Tech first-year student, the subjects are the same regardless of branch. These are the topics:

Chemistry

-Physics

-I & II Mathematics

-Electrical Engineering Fundamentals

-a language for programming (mostly , C language)

-Workshop Techniques

-English for professionals

-Engineered Illustrations / Engineered Drawings

-Separate a handful of these subjects into different laboratories.

These will be evenly divided as subjects for two first-year semesters.

In any college ,the subjects of the first year B.tech are related to the subjects which one have studied in std 11 and 12.Subjects like C,C++,physics,chemistry,maths,english,environmental science,basic electronics,engineering mechanics,engineering graphics,basic electrical engineering will be there in 1st year of CSE of b.tech.And labs like C++ lab,basic electrical engineering lab,physics lab,C lab,chemistry lab,basic electronics lab and basic manufacturing system lab will be there.Only few subjects are new,so with very less effort one can score good marks

Hi,

The subjects in btech 1st year is common to all branches.Most of them are related to what you have studied in 11th and 12th standard.

You can have subjects like basic electronics,basic electrical ,basic mechanical,evs,maths(in both sems), chemistry,c or c++, engineering graphics,physics, english, mechanics of solids.

Other than this you will have lab classes :c or c++lab,physics and chemistry lab,electrical and electronics lab,basic mechanical lab.
