What are the 2 subsidiary subjects in 1st year of ba political science honours

Hello Vijay,

If you pursue Political Science from Delhi University, in your 1st Year, you would be given 4 subject sets in each semester.

In semester 1, you would have two subjects from Political Science (your Core Paper): 

1. Understanding Political Theory

2. Constitutional Government and Democracy in India 

with one Elective and one AECC, you may choose your own elective from any field except from Political Science and your AECC may be EVS or English depending on what your college offers in your first semester. If you are offered EVS in your Sem1, then you would have English as AECC in your Sem 2. You may or may not continue your Generic Elective in Semester 2, the choice is totally yours.

The Core subjects you would have in Sem 2 are:

1. Political Theory- Concepts and Debates

2. Political Process in India
