The exam asks questions about Quantitative Aptitude & Analysis and Verbal Ability which means it deals with general mathematics, analytical and possibly reasoning ability and English language. These are the topics you've to deal with if you write IPMAT. If you appear for this exam and prepare accordingly, it'll certainly boost your QA and English language skills and eventually your confidence.
