Hi Janardhana,

Electronics and Communication engineering is treated as one of the toughest branches to deal with, though it seems so it isn't. There few subjects which are tough to understand and hence gives such a broad perspective.

In EnC you will come across:

  • Embedded systems
  • Analog
  • Digital electronics
  • Signal processing (little tough to most)

and other topics.. well these are the main.

As electronic and communication engineer you should have strong skills in Embedded systems and Digital electronics. These are basics for advanced topics like the Internet of things (IoT), Home Automation, Automobile.

Start working on development boards like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ATTiny and sensors like ultrasonic, IR, gas sensing, LDR etc. With this, you will learn embedded electronics and also code. Then you can start working on practical applications like building basic robots, controlling home appliances like light, fan via Bluetooth, GPS tracking system etc.

Good Luck!
