If you want to have concepts in physics then go for hc Verma. It is one of the best books for 11th and 12th physics. This book has lots of numericals with theory in easy language. You can surely refer to some standard books for theory in boards but hc Verma will clear the concepts like in rotation almost every other book is written in such a way that students get confused but if you solve HC Verma you will find that you can solve it yourself without teacher's help. Though teacher is important but the book is very simply written. Question level increases generally in the book as you go further in exercise questions which will increase your thinking skills.
