• Public sector undertakings

• Higher studies ( M.Tech, phD)
• Private sector jobs
• You may prepare for IES ( Indian engg services)
• SSC exam or UPSC.

According to me the best career option after b tech is to work in some core engineering companies which most of them these days dont to since maximum are absorbed by the IT companies.You could also crack gate and get chance in PSUs and other government based jobs.According to me this is the best career option which i can give you.However try to stay in the line of stream for which you have worked in 4 years.However if you have a passion for any other jobs or livings then you can surely pursue that.IT completely depends on you.
