ofcourse you can 100 percent rely on the ncert text books for the jee mains examination because most question are based on this text syllabus or the question are just modified version of the question given in the text. for Maths you will have to concentrate on the miscellaneous question given after every chapter. try solving model question papers and previous years question papers.
