It is very important to assess your level of preparation of a particular topic before choosing a perfect book that can supplement you preparation well.
If you are:
1) A beginner (i.e. you need to brush up your basics) - solve NCERT exercises on Quadratic Equations roughly.
2) An Intermediate (i.e. strong basics but need to practice) - Solve questions from R.D sharma or cengage series
3) An Expert - (i.e. confident to solve questions) - give mocks / solve previous year questions to increase speed & accuracy.
