It'd be better if you make your question clear by including the details of the college or exam you're talking about. Then only someone with knowledge about that can give an answer.

In general, the documents you have to submit for application/admission are

1. 12th marklist

2. 10th marklist

3. Domicile certificate

4. Birth certificate

5. TC from previous institution

6. Conduct certificate from previous institution

7. Caste/community certifacate

8. CL/NCL certificate, if you're from OBC

9. Hard copy of the score card of entrance examination

etc. Some of these may not be needed. It depends on the institution. The required documents will be speified in the website/counselling instrutions document given by the institution. Just go through that carefully.
