There is only one college in Andhra Pradesh with B.Tech in Biotechnology. Al Ameer College of Engineering and Information Technology, Visakhapatnam it provides Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Biotechnology which is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. Candidate must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination for being eligible for this course.
