The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) administers the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) to select applicants for admission to both undergraduate and graduate law programmes. Although many private colleges and universities also accept CLAT marks for entrance to law programmes, the exam is primarily held for admissions to NLUs in India.
