You can give UPSC civil Services Exam. You won't be able to give IES. ISRO and DRDO. Also the military services. Nothing more. India is not a manufacturing hub, making mechatronics a fairly redundant field in India unless you plan to start an automation business of your own With 100% FDI in defence manufacturing, expect things to change well before 2021 where Mechatronics Engineers would be in great demand from defence companies manufacturing in India.
