If you want to take a drop then take a complete drop that is do not enroll yourself in a lower level college as it will be very difficult for you to maintain both college and jee preparation and you will eventually won't be able to do your best. However if you are somehow can get a college where you can go only for giving semester end exams then you can also enroll yourself in the college and continue your JEE preparation. But my suggestion is this that you should prefer a complete drop and remember if you are taking drop than try to be focused and try to score well next year so that atleast you can grab an NIT seat. Take decision at your own risk.

Thank You and All The Best.

Ok. So you are in a mood to drop and write JEE again.

Matter to remember before drop:

  • Ask yourself whether you have the confidence to clear jee main and advanced
  • You have the guts to do anything to achieve your goals and
  • You are sure in your decision and will not change it at any cost
  • Jee main is far easiest than jee advanced. Dropout if your one and only Moto is to join IIT

Matter to remember after drop:

  • Join best coaching institute
  • Off all your demotivators, stay away from all distractions
  • Work hard and smart
  • Practise.practise.practise
  • Burn the fire of achievement in you

Matter to remember for joining a low level college:

  • If you are 100% confident in dropping , you can drop. Orelse you can join a local college and prepare for it, because if you fail after dropping your life gets wasted.
  • Even if you fail, you can prepare for GATE and Excel in IIT in masters
