CAT is one of the top exams and is widely accepted. Other exams which are widely accepted are XAT for premier institution, CMAT for majority of colleges in India as its a Government initiative, and GMAT which is also accepted for International Ivy leauge colleges. Colleges like symbiosis have SNAP, Xlri has XAT, NMIMS has NMAT, MICA has MICAT exam, etc. The preparation is more or less similar. The easiest exam is MhTCET by Maharashtra for state colleges in Maharashtra only and is cinducted jn Feb March peeiod.

XAT: XAT is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur. There are more than 140 Management Institutes which use XAT scores for selecting students.

MAT: MAT is conducted four times a year (in February, May, September & December) by the Centre for Management Services (CMS) division of All India Management Association (AIMA).
