Water soluble vitamins are opposite to fat soluble vitamins as they are not stored in the body . It absorbs what it needs and then release them through urine . As they cannot be stored they are needed by the body continuously . Some of the water soluble vitamins are :

Water Soluble Vitamins are -

• Vitamin B group [ Thiamin (Vitamin B1), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Niacin (Vitamin B3), Pantothenic Acid, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12]

Water Soluble vitamins should be supplied regularly in diet because they are readily excreted in urine and cannot be stored in our body.
