see biotechnology has wide area of studies concern and if you want to go for masters or ms courses there is many areas of studies included in biotechnology available, for example-Health, Animal Health, Agriculture, Medicine, Forestry Fisheries, Mining, Environment, Horticulture, Floriculture, Dairy technology, Food processing, parental dispute, Aquaculture etc. however after completing b.tech you may work as  technical instructor in food processing company, or work as an lab technician in drug and pharmaceutical company, if you have knowledge on medical software  you may work as an IT professional in software industry.
