There is no age limit to appear in GATE exam. But your intention must be clear about GATE. I myself wrote exam when turned 30 yrs old. Qualified it and will be pursueing M.Tech. I was working after my B.Tech till now and felt the need for higher education and hence opted for GATE.

For many it would be PSU jobs, but mind it for general category there is agelimit criteria which is max 30yrs old. So please keep a check as per your category and life requirements.

With dedication, continuous hard work, determination and will power, one can achieve anything one really wants irrespective of age. Only thing is it should be clear in your mind as to why you want to do it.
