To apply for AFMC Pune there are first a set of eligibility criterias that you must fulfill and these are: 

• You must be an indian national
• You must have qualified NEET
• You must be unmarried
• You must clear the medical test to qualify for admission
• The minimum height requirement for girl candidates is 144 cms while weight is 36 kgs. and for boys, it is 157.5 cms
• The minimum height requirement for boy candidates is 157.5 cms and weight requirement is 47 kgs
• You must be between 17 to 24 years of age
• You must have scored at least 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually in Class 12 or equivalent examination
• Your aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 must be 60%
• You must have studied and passed Mathematics of Class 10 level to be eligible for AFMC MBBS application form 2019

If you fulfill the above conditions, then you are eligible to apply for AFMC!


The application forms will most likely be released the second week of June by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). It will be available only in online mode. The DGHS will give the list of candidates to AFMC who will then release a list of candidates eligible for counselling and the rest of the procedures will be followed.
