There is no direct transfer to 2nd year. Candidates who have done diploma can go for lateral entry and join in 2nd year i.e. 3rd semester. There is no specific or different requirement. qualification certificate, eligibility criteria and admission as per the selection process into the college has to be satisfied.

rest is same as a normal candidate does in the whole process until admission. for more information, look into the information broucher of the entrance exam you want to give.
