Income tax department is one of the reputed  department of india. If you want to get a job in income tax department, then you have to clear SSC CGL with good score. SSC CGL is a combined level graduate examination which is conducted for requirement of group b and c post for non gazetted officer and gazetted officer.so, this is respected and power full job.

You have to score atleast 515 marks out of 700 for get a job into income tax department.

To be eligible for becoming an Income Tax Officer one should hold a Bachelor's degree of any stream. The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years on 1st July of the year of examination and must not have attained 27 years of age on that date.
