If you want to choose the Research field as your career, then it would be better for you to complete M.TECH in the area of specialization you want to do the research from any IIT or NIT.
To get into this govt. colleges you have to clear GATE exam(with good score).
Research needs lots of dedication and hard work. If you can get in some good Institutes for the M.TECH program it will be much better
