Humanities is a broad academic field which basically deals with different types of Human interactions, Human culture. Any subject that studies deeper about human experience comes under Humanity. Degrees in Fashion, Art, Geography, English, Philosophy and History fall under Humanities. Foreign Languages, Religious Education, Interior Design, History, Psychology, Sociology and Political Science are the common courses that come under this category. Law also falls under Humanities. Studying the Humanities gives you general knowledge but not a practical trade.
