generally , NID has two sections for exam , Prelims and mains

Some of the topics included in Prelims and mains exams are as follows :

Prelims :

  • Theme development
  • Exercises on imagination
  • Graphics & pictograms
  • Principles of composition
  • Design theory
  • Optical illusion and others

Mains

  • Model making
  • Material manipulation
  • Audio-visual exercises
  • Doodling and others

Syllabus for Studio Test in B.Des :
